The Blame Game

'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.'

This quote from Thomas Jefferson was prophetic, although many uneducated puppets...er, pundits of the mainstream media still refuse to recognize or acknowledge it as such. The few individuals that have recognized the scope and significance of the economic calamity we now find ourselves are too busy playing the blame game to be any help.

Focus on what is really important, faith and family, and start preparing for an economic winter that might last longer than the average winter. My suggestions may sound ridiculous to some, but I'll state tham anyway. Store food and necessities like you have never before done. Not for a week, but for at least 3 months or more. The reason...with today's delicate supply lines for everything from food to fuel, a small disruption in that supply line can have devestating consequences. As I write this, over 50% (some media sources are saying closer to 80%) of gas stations in the Nashville area are without fuel, as a number of storms this season have played havoc with those very supply lines we are discussing.

It will get a lot worse before it gets better, so...prepare.

I would highly recommend www.survivalblog.com , in my opinion the best source for information on emergency preparedness.

Let others point the fingers...we'll go about doing what we need to do for our families in these historic times.
